The episode starts out with Goku and Android 19 fighting, and they seem to be deadlocked. Tien and Piccolo watch, as Goku and 19 exchange blow after blow. Goku finally gives 19 a hard elbow to the back, sending him into a mountain. Goku watches, and Android 20 looks shocked. Tien is happy for Goku, while Piccolo seems unamused. 19 then comes out of the rubble and charges Goku. Goku easily stops him and kicks him into the air, then chases after him and dodges all of the punches 19 tries to give him.

Back at Master Roshi's house, Master Roshi and Oolong are trying to look at the same women's magazine, and they both fall over. Chiaotzu meanwhile is worried about Tien. Then there is a voice coming from outside, it's Maron! And she's back for Krillin! Master Roshi tries to tell her where he is. She continues to look around for him, and Master Roshi tries to kiss her, but he jumps at a plant instead of her. She starts to worry about him and starts to look around for him. She looks everywhere, in the bathroom, in the fridge, everywhere. Oolong tries to tell her that he's trying to fight against the Red Ribbon Army, but she misinterprets it and thinks that he is getting a red ribbon for her, everyone falls over.

Chiaotzu then tells Maron what happened so far and that is where Krillin is. Master Roshi tells Maron about the story of the Red Ribbon Army and how Goku defeated all of them. Then he explains how Dr. Gero built the Androids and was destroyed by his own creation.

Krillin, Gohan and Yamcha meanwhile are flying after Goku, and can sense his energy.

Goku continues to beat up 19, and afterwards seems to be a little out of breath. But he charges right after 19 and hits him some more. Android 20 looks on and says that Goku's power is more than they had anticipated, and that 19 could be destroyed.

Gohan, Krillin, and Yamcha finally land at the scene, and Tien tells them that he has been beating up 19 the whole time. Everyone watches as Goku appears to have the upper hand on 19. But Piccolo tells them that Goku isn't his usual self, and that he is maxed out. Gohan says that he can see it too, and wonders if it has something to do with what the Android did to Yamcha. Goku then kicks 19 into the ground, but he gets right back up! Goku sees this, and starts to fire a Kamehameha wave, but Android 19 absorbs it! Goku looks at him out of breath, and everyone is shocked to see what has just happened. Piccolo yells at Goku not to use his energy waves. Everyone doesn't know how Goku is so out of breath, and everyone asks how Goku is so out of breath, and Piccolo says it must be something else that is taking it all away. Everyone watches as Goku and 19 battle again, but 19 seems to gain the upper hand. Goku is about to fire a Kamehameha wave, but Piccolo finally yells at him just in time. He stops, and then starts to land down on the ground. Gohan realizes what is wrong with him, the heart virus is attacking him now!
