The Garlic Junior Saga

This saga starts right after the Frieza Saga. Everyone is relaxing after their long and exhausting fight with Frieza. The scene starts with people struggling as a gang is beating them up badly. It is Garlic Junior! And he has come back from the Dead Zone with one thing on his mind... revenge. Meanwhile, Piccolo trains himself when all of a sudden, Kami appears! And he asks Piccolo if he will take his place as Guardian. Piccolo says that he would never. So hearing that Kami goes back to the Lookout, waiting for his time to come.

Meanwhile, Gohan is enjoying a nice swim when he sees Krillin dressed up in a suit! Gohan jokes about it and asks if that is really him. Then a girl is heard calling for Krillin. It is a thin, young blue haired girl with blue eyes. Krillin introduces Gohan to Maron, his girlfriend! Gohan can’t believe it. Gohan goes on thinking to himself that Krillin finally got a girlfriend. Meanwhile, Mr. Popo is at the Lookout when a bunch of things start trashing the Lookout. It is Garlic Junior and his gang, the Spice Boys. Mr. Popo remembers how Gohan locked Garlic Junior up in the Dead Zone. Garlic Junior says that the Makyo Star has helped him out of the lockup. Kami then arrives, only to see his friend get shrinked and thrown in a jar, and later the same happens to Kami. Garlic Junior and his henchmen go for a search in Kami’s sanctuary for the Black Water Mist. Garlic Junior finds it, and opens the bottle, making mist come out and drop on the Earth.

Meanwhile, Gohan escapes from having to study and flies to Master Roshi’s, where Bulma, Krillin, Maron, Master Roshi, Yamcha, Oolong, Puar and Turtle are all going to be. While flying with his dinosaur, Gohan sees a strange purple coming towards him. Him and Ickorus are sealed up in a cave until it disappears. Then all of a sudden, the animals in the forest turn on Gohan, they start to attack, making Gohan fly away with his dinosaur. Meanwhile, back at Master Roshi’s, Chi-Chi arrives mad that Gohan left. She goes crazy and hears that Gohan isn’t there yet. She is happy because now she can confront him as he arrives. Just then, Maron starts to put down Chi-Chi, making Chi-Chi try to attack, Krillin and Maron go diving in the ocean while Chi-Chi is held off. Just as Krillin and Maron go underwater, the Black Water Mist comes in, contaminating everyone except for Krillin and Maron, who were underwater.

Gohan then arrives, only to get confronted by his mom, who is now contaminated. She starts to attack, while everyone else attacks on Krillin and Maron. When just then, the Spice Boys arrive, and everyone except Gohan, Krillin, and Maron bow down to them. Gohan yells at his mom to get up, but the Spice Boys explain that they are part of them now. Gohan demands to know how they can be revived. They explain that there is something called the Sacred Water in Kami’s Lookout guarded by Garlic Junior. They also explain that everyone have now supported Garlic Junior. Meanwhile, Garlic Junior stands in front of a spiky ball, speaking to what seems to be his father. He says that the earthlings are so weak and that he will dominate this planet. And he also explains that he will wish back his own father to fight along side of him.

Meanwhile, Gohan, Krillin and Maron are forced to fight, when a force appears and holds all of them back, it’s Piccolo! The Spice Boys immediately know who he is because of Kami. Piccolo starts to fight the enslaved friends of Gohan, Krillin, and Maron’s. He gets bitten in the neck, and becomes enslaved as well. Gohan and Krillin don’t know this because Piccolo has ordered them and Maron to go to Kami’s Lookout to face Garlic Junior. They drop Maron off at Korin’s Place, and then land on Kami’s Lookout. Garlic Junior appears with Kami in his hand. Gohan and Krillin are upset that they have trapped him in a bottle. When just then, the Spice Boys arrive, with Piccolo, now enslaved and ready to face Gohan and Krillin! The first two Spice Boys are blown away by Gohan, and the next to charge him is his own mentor Piccolo! Gohan doesn’t want to fight him because of his feelings for him. He tries to convince Piccolo that it is him. But Piccolo continues fighting. Gohan then breaks free and fights Piccolo. Krillin, now hurt from the fight, makes a desperate attempt to take Kami and Mr. Popo and take them out of their bottles. But Garlic Junior sees him and beats him badly. Next, Krillin flies toward Piccolo and Gohan, making Piccolo accidentally hit Krillin. Like normal, Piccolo turns his attention to Krillin, and bites him! Or at least we think at the time. Gohan continues his exhausting fight with Piccolo, with Krillin now knocked out of the fight.

But just as Gohan is about to be knocked out, Krillin arrives, not saving anything from Gohan but not saying anything at the same time. He kicks Gohan and joins the fight with Piccolo. Piccolo is about to deliver the final blow, when Garlic Junior stops him, saying he wants to deliver the final blow. Piccolo speaks, revealing that him and Krillin have been pretending to be enslaved! Kami and Popo have been freed, and Gohan wakes up, seeing Piccolo and Krillin ready to face off with Garlic Junior, and sees Kami and Mr. Popo. This makes the last two Spice Boys step in, who have been watching the fight for a while. Gohan blasts one of them through a sharp pole that goes through his stomach, killing him. The other is thrown against a wall, killing him as well. Kami and Mr. Popo are wondering what they are going to do because there isn’t enough time to spread the Sacred Water from where they are on the lookout. Mr. Popo exclaims that they can go through the floor into the world’s seven air currents. He says that Kami could be trapped forever in there though. They leave anyway.

Meanwhile, Piccolo fights Garlic Junior and seems to have an advantage, when all of a sudden, Garlic Junior points to something. It’s the Makyo Star! This star gives him power. He powers up to his huge size, ready to face Piccolo, and resurrects the last two Spice Boys killed and gives them more power as well! Meanwhile, Kami and Mr. Popo have been attacked by some wierd force. This force could kill Kami if he isn’t careful. Mr Popo tries to wake up Kami, then the strange figure speaks. He tells him can’t you see that he is too tired. Mr. Popo recognizes the voice. He says that it is the guardian before Kami. Kami can’t believe it. They ask if they can get through to release the Sacred Water. The guardian won’t allow it, so Kami and Popo run anyway. They get blasted left and right, and Kami’s energy is getting drained the farther he goes. Because of this, Piccolo’s fight with Garlic Junior is being effected as well! Piccolo’s energy is being drained also!

Meanwhile, Krillin is completely unconscious from fighting the healed Spice Boys, and Gohan blasts both away to get to Krillin. Piccolo has been knocked in the rubble by Garlic Junior. Garlic thinks that it is over, until he sees Gohan come back to the Lookout with Krillin. Garlic is about to fight Gohan, when Piccolo emerges from the rubble! Piccolo can’t fight because of Kami, so Gohan charges Garlic Junior. Gohan gets knocked in the rubble as well. Meanwhile, Kami and Mr. Popo have made it but Kami gets fried at the last second! Kami can’t move, and he has the Sacred Water! Time is running out, and the Former Guardians are all against them! Meanwhile Mr. Popo finally gets a hold of the Sacred Water and spreads it across the Earth. Everyone is back to normal, even though the Earth is in awful shape. Garlic Junior sees this and realizes that his plans have been foiled!

Gohan emerges from the rubble, only to see Krillin and Piccolo holding off Garlic Junior so that Gohan can blast him! Gohan hesitates, and by the time he is ready, Garlic Junior breaks loose because of Piccolo losing balance from Kami. Garlic Junior finally decides to re-open his Dead Zone! The new power he acquired that got him trapped the first time!!! Gohan is forced to make a shield to help his two friends from getting caught. Piccolo gives Gohan a plan, to blow up the Makyo Star so Garlic Junior will lose all if his power! But if Gohan does so, Krillin and Piccolo will get sucked into the Dead Zone!

Meanwhile, Kami is just about to die when the Former Guardians decide to restore his power. Kami has a few words to say about that, but the Guardians just blow them back to the Lookout, which is getting sucked into the Dead Zone as we speak! But now that Kami’s power is back, Piccolo’s is too! Piccolo leaves the shield and fights Garlic Junior. Krillin does so as well. Gohan finally fires at the star, turning Garlic Junior into a prune, and sucked into his own attack again!

Everyone is OK and Krillin and Gohan leave again, with the Lookout in a big mess. Mr. Popo and Kami have work to do. Next we see Krillin and Maron out shopping. Maron is looking at a wedding dress which makes Krillin think that she is going to marry him. This drives him nuts because he doesn’t understand how such a pretty girl can marry someone like him. Turtle tells him that he can get her the Mermaid’s Tear, under the sea. It is believed to be the biggest pearl in the world. Hearing this, Krillin and Gohan go underwater in search of the Mermaid’s Tear. They find it, but animals are defending it. Then Krillin realizes that he has to let go of Maron just like the Pearl. So he tells Maron this when he comes back above water. She leaves, but not before telling Krillin that she would’ve said yes. Krillin goes nuts, and runs after her, but trips, and looses her. He is mad, but knows he did the right thing.
