Trunks Saga

This saga starts right after the fight with Garlic Junior. It starts at Gohan’s house. Gohan looks up, fooling around when he is supposed to be studying, and is wondering where his father is after all of this time. Next, we see Master Roshi’s house. Krillin is training in the ocean in front of the house. He fires a huge Kamehameha that blasts along the water, and creates a tidal wave that wets the whole house, including Master Roshi, who is asleep after reading his magazines. Master Roshi wakes up and looks at Krillin, who is mad that his attack was too weak, saying that he has been tense since he broke up with Maron. Meanwhile, we see Krillin mad at himself that the attack isn’t strong enough.

Next, we see Gohan still fooling around, when his mom calls for him. Gohan looks upside down in his chair, which makes him lose balance and fall down. His pencil rolls across the floor and hits a shoe that isn’t his mom’s. Someone is behind Chi-Chi. Chi-Chi announces that his name is Mr. Shoo, Gohan’s new tutor. Gohan puts his chair back in position, asking his mom if he can just study harder and forget about the tutor. She yells at him that he can’t. Mr. Shoo tells Chi-Chi that he will do the best he can. He calls Gohan “slow”, which makes Chi-Chi tell him that he isn’t slow. He answers that every mom thinks their child is a prodigy, and that’s why she hired a tutor.

Meanwhile, we go to Bulma’s house. We see Oolong, Yamcha, and Puar all sitting at a table with Bulma standing nearby, Bulma tells them about a dream she had of Vegeta and how he kissed her. Yamcha gets mad, but that just amuses Oolong knowing that Yamcha just got mad over a dream. Bulma’s mom then pops in and explains that Vegeta should be running out of fuel soon. Bulma looks up at the sky, which surprises Yamcha.

Meanwhile, we are back at Gohan’s house, we see Gohan sitting at the table yelling a whole bunch of slang, and Mr. Shoo telling him that there will be no use of slang. He tells him about every mistake he made, and Gohan tells him that mistakes are to learn from, when Mr. Shoo whips him with his whip. Even at night we can see Gohan’s light on. Then we go inside to see Gohan being overlooked by Mr. Shoo. Mr. Shoo says a few words to Gohan making him mad, and then we see Gohan asleep. He wakes up to see his dinosaur peeking out his window. Gohan flies after him, but the dinosaur disappears, but Gohan can see a figure walking toward him. He notices it, and starts to cry. It’s Goku! Chi-Chi runs out the door to see what the commotion is, to see her husband back from his long trip. Goku walks into the window instead of the door, which is unusual, and Gohan asks what he has been doing all of this time, but Goku stays silent, Gohan tries to encourage his dad to talk, until Goku gets an angry look on his face, and starts to scream. He suddenly transforms into Frieza! Frieza tries to punch Gohan, but Gohan blocks it, crying, when we can hear Mr. Shoo yelling. Gohan grabs harder, and we see Mr. Shoo yelling in pain. Gohan then wakes up, and lets go of Mr. Shoo. Mr. Shoo flies against the wall, calling Gohan a madman. Gohan says that he was dreaming. Mr. Shoo puts down Gohan’s dad again, and Gohan goes on the offensive, making Mr. Shoo yell for Gohan’s mom. She walks in, only to see Gohan going after Mr. Shoo. She stops him. Gohan calls his dad a saint compared to him. Mr. Shoo whips Gohan, and Chi-Chi quietly listens to Mr. Shoo putting down her husband. When just then, she throws Mr. Shoo out of the window, and chases him off of the property!

Meanwhile, everyone at Bulma’s house sees something red coming out of the sky, and lands right on their front yard. It is a Capsule Ship, and out comes Vegeta! Yamcha asks what he is doing there, thinking he is still evil, which he technically is. Vegeta tells Yamcha that he hoped Kakarrot came back. Vegeta was about to fight Yamcha, when Bulma butts in, wondering who smells. She points to Vegeta, and tells him he needs a bath! She escorts him to the shower, with Vegeta mumbling behind her. While Vegeta is in the shower, Bulma goes nuts over how much the clothes smell. She tells Vegeta that she left some fresh clothes. Vegeta yells at her to leave, and she does. Vegeta thinks to himself about how females are such an enigma. Next, we see Krillin over and he is talking to Yamcha about Vegeta. Yamcha says that Vegeta seems so obsessed with finding Goku, when Bulma comes in and says that he is like a kid, because he was once a prince, and is used to being treated like royalty. Then we hear Vegeta yell “Servant Woman!!” which makes Bulma mad as heck that he just called her that. He is demanding a drying cloth, but Bulma doesn’t answer. He yells “Woman!!! Can you hear me!!???” Bulma tells him that her name is Bulma and that he will have to say please. Then we hear him complaining, but not about the drying cloth. “Is this a joke???” he yells. Bulma asks is what a joke. And he explains that it is the garments that she left. He wonders if they are for a man or a woman, because they are pink! Everyone laughs at him. Vegeta can be heard complaining, while everyone else laughs, until Vegeta gets angry and threatens to blast everyone. Everyone stops right away, when Bulma tells him to loosen up.

Meanwhile, we see space, and wierd stuff is going on. But we see Chi-Chi’s house anyway, and Ox-King is cracking up at what he heard about Mr. Shoo being chased off of the property. Meanwhile, we see the space picture again, and Gohan studying, but has stopped, and broke his pencil, sensing something wierd. The phone then rings, and Gohan answers it. It’s Krillin, sensing the same thing, and wondering if it is, well they don’t say yet. But Krillin believes it is, and tells him to suit up.

In the middle of the phone call, we go to Bulma’s house, while Vegeta senses the same thing Gohan and Krillin have been sensing. He yells that it if Frieza who is still alive and is coming!!! Yamcha isn’t convinced, but Vegeta yells at him because of that. Bulma asks Vegeta if he wants more Barbecue Sauce on his spare ribs, he says yes.

Meanwhile, at a frozen mountain, we hear screams, and the mountain seperating. It’s Piccolo, and he senses it too. Tien and Chiaotzu sense the same thing.

Then we go back to the phone call. Krillin is still talking to Gohan, saying that he knew it was too good to be true. Gohan suits up, and flies off, with Chi-Chi close behind but missing him. Meanwhile, we see a spaceship in spaceship in space, it’s a huge guy that looks like Frieza, and talks to a smaller person. It’s Frieza!

He is much different than before, he has a lot of mechanical parts attached to missing body parts, and he appears stronger. He looks much like his ultimate form, but patched up. Gohan looks for Krillin and finds him flying toward him. Gohan asks Krillin if he is sure that it is Frieza. Krillin says he is, flashing back to the time that Frieza killed him. Next we see Vegeta and Yamcha flying toward the same spot. Yamcha can’t believe how fast Vegeta can fly. But Vegeta is wondering how Frieza survived after Goku supposedly defeated him. Then we see Tien and Chiaotzu flying toward the scene too. Chiaotzu tells Tien that he can sense them close.

When first to land is Vegeta and Yamcha on the scene. Vegeta looks up to see if anything has come, and so does Yamcha, still confused about what they are looking for. Vegeta explains that this is where Frieza will land. Next, Bulma and Puar all land on the scene. Yamcha yells at them for coming, saying that this is no place for them. But they wind up staying anyway.

Next to come to the scene is Tien and Chiaotzu, who are surprised to see Vegeta there. Tien and Vegeta were just about to engage in a fight, when Yamcha breaks them up. Yamcha and Tien do some chatting, which annoys Vegeta who yells at them. Next they hear Piccolo, who is standing on a hill nearby. Next comes Gohan and Krillin. Everyone asks Gohan if they have heard from Goku, but Gohan shakes his head. Everyone is sad. Piccolo yells out that he’s here!! Everyone looks up, and sees the huge spaceship entering the atmosphere! Everyone wonders what to do as the spaceship flies right over their heads. They can sense the powers, and don’t believe it.

Meanwhile, King Cold, Frieza’s father, who was the huge one earlier, and Frieza get out of the ship along with the henchmen. Frieza examines the planet, when he sees Goku! Goku is still in his beaten up state, but in Super Saiyan, with his back to Frieza. Goku looks back at him, and smiles. Frieza then flashes back to the moment Goku flew away from Frieza after being cut in half. Frieza then fired a beam at Goku, and Goku threw it back, blowing up Frieza even more. When Namek exploded, Frieza can be seen floating with the debris, and Frieza talking to himself about how he was just a monkey. Meanwhile, King Cold is searching for Frieza, believing he was still alive. Then they pick up Frieza, who is blown up bad, and is almost dead. They bring him on the ship. They repair him, replacing all of the blown up body parts with new ones, and he is finally rehealed! He tells his father to set a course for Earth. King Cold tells them to change the course. Then we are back to present. Frieza is mad at this flashback, and orders his men to go find all of Goku’s friends, when we hear a sword waving in the air. Then body parts from all of the men hit the ground. A man with mushroom cut hair, a sword, A Capsule Corp jacket, and black tank top appears, putting his sword back in the storage space he has. He recognizes him as Frieza.

They exchange words, and then Frieza orders his men to attack. The strange guy cuts them all up with his sword. Everyone can see what is going on, and at first think it’s Goku, but don’t know just yet. Frieza is surprised, but not really. They exchange more words, and then the guy tells Frieza that he is about to see a true Super Saiyan, and that he isn’t talking about Goku! Frieza doesn’t believe it, so he laughs, until he really does transform, scaring the crap out of Frieza, because he recognizes the eyes. Meanwhile, everyone can see what’s going on, and everyone first thinks it’s Goku, but they don’t want to believe it, because this guy is too powerful. King Cold doesn’t seem too scared. Frieza then fires at the man, but he is still standing. Now Frieza is worried. He gets ready to fire a death ball at the Earth. He throws it right directly on the guy. But halfway down, the man is seen holding the death ball!

Frieza is mad now, and fires at the ball, exploding it. They believe to have defeated him, until he can be seen on a cliff. He fires at Frieza, making him fly up, and Frieza then sees the man above him, with his sword out, and cuts him in half! He then cuts him to pieces, and destroys him like nothing! King Cold can’t believe it either. Everyone is looking now, and sees Frieza get killed, and remain stunned.

King Cold asks the guy if he can see his sword. The man then allows King Cold to look at his sword. King Cold then tries to go on the offensive, and tries to slice the guy. But he counters it, and blasts King Cold through the stomach! King Cold coughs up blood as he hits a cliff and falls to the ground. He then blows up King Cold, blasts the ship, and then reverts back to normal form. He then looks at our heroes, who were watching the fight, and everyone is surprised to know that he saw them.

He tells them to follow him, because he knows where Goku is arriving! They follow him to a deserted spot, and he takes out a capsule. He throws it on the ground, and a refrigerator pops up. He offers everyone drinks. Krillin, Gohan, and Bulma are the only ones to take the nice offer. Bulma asks him if she has seen him before. He says no. Then she sees the Capsule Corp on his jacket. She asks if he is one of their workers. He says no. She asks for his name, but he won’t give it! Everyone except Bulma, Krillin and Gohan are disgusted with him. While waiting, Trunks keeps peeking at Vegeta, which makes Vegeta a little frustrated. A timer sounds, and he says that it has been two hours. Finally, everyone can sense a power coming. They see a ship fly in from space, and hit the ground, creating a crature. Goku comes out, and appears completely healed, making everyone cheer. He asks how everyone knew that he was coming. Bulma explains that it was this guy who told them. Goku wonders who he is, and finally, the boy says he wants to talk to Goku alone. So they fly off a little ways away from the Z-Fighters. He finally reveals who he is. He says he is Trunks, son of Vegeta!

Goku doesn’t believe it. But Trunks cuts to the chase. He says that three years from today, two Androids will come on an island 9 miles southwest of South City. The Androids were said to be created by the mastermind behind the old Red Ribbon Army, Dr. Gero. Goku doesn’t believe it, because he let him go many years ago when he fought the army. Trunks also says that in that time, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Piccolo, Vegeta, and even Yajirobe will die at the hands of the two Androids. He also says that thirteen years later, they will kill Gohan too. Goku then asks if he died too. But Trunks says he didn’t. But instead, he died of a heart virus before the attack. Goku gets mad at this, and with Trunks seeing that Goku wants to stay in the fight, he gives him an antidote from the future that the present doesn’t have. Trunks tells Goku one more thing. That Bulma’s his mom!

Goku falls over at this crazy result, that Bulma and Vegeta actually have a kid together. But having gave the warning, Trunks flies off to go back to his time, and says he will return again in three years. Goku returns to everyone, not saying anything, but one thing. Piccolo heard every word! So Piccolo tells them everything except for his name and who his parents are. With that, everyone is just about ready to leave when everyone asks Goku how he got back.

He said that after Frieza’s screwed up ship broke down, he found another ship, jumped in it, and took off without plotting a course. He crash landed on the Planet Yardratt. The inhabitants nursed him back to health, and fixed his ship as well. He then demonstrates his new technique, Instant Transmission! He disappears and reappears with Master Roshi’s sunglasses! He then explains that he can move at speeds of 186,000 miles per second to get to a certain power. And showing all that he has learned, everyone flies off to train. Tien and Chiaotzu together, Yamcha by himself, Gohan, Goku and Piccolo all together, and Krillin, doing what he did in the beginning of the saga, wetting all of Master Roshi’s magazines, and Master Roshi himself.

Chi-Chi makes Goku and Piccolo take driving school, with Goku getting one in 7 tries. And with the blink of an eye, three years have came and went, and Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo are all more powerful than before, and fly off to face the Androids that will destroy the island nine miles southwest of South City.
