DragonBall Z -
Below is a list of minions (or "Henchmen") in DragonBall Z. The henchmen seen in DragonBall Z are much more deadly than in DragonBall. Instead of Goku taking them all out in one punch, the henchmen give him, and the other Z gang a run for their money in a lot of cases.

Vegeta-

Vegeta is the first in the series to be seen with a henchman/minion; a really nasty one at that! (Yes, Vegeta did have henchmen.) Hearing of the existance of magical balls that could grant the holder any wish they wanted, Vegeta and Nappa set out for Earth to wish for (what else?) Immortality. Vegeta's Minions Raditz - Some may not consider Raditz a minion of Vegeta. He was originally a part of Vegeta and Nappa's group. Vegeta seemed to control Nappa, so it is assumed he treated Raditz the same. Raditz is destroyed by Piccolo. Nappa - Nappa is the henchman that caused the Z fighters the most grief out of Vegeta's gang. He was responsable for the deaths of Tien, Piccolo and Chouzu. He also destroyed numerous Earth cities and the entire Earth AirForce and Navy. Nappa is destroyed by Vegeta. Saibamen - These little creatures were planted by Nappa and sprouted from the ground (Just add water!). They didn't seem to give the Z fighters too much trouble. Except for when one got desperate and self-destructed while clinging to Yamcha. Yamcha died.

Frieza-
	Frieza is, without a doubt, the villain with the most minions in DragonBall Z. He even had an entire RACE working for him. Here is a quick rundown of his impressive army. Frieza's Minions Zarbon - Frieza's right-hand man. Zarbon was Frieza's most powerful basic minion (as opposed to his elite minions, the Ginyu Force). Zarbon was the one who advised Frieza to eliminate the Saiya-jin race before the Legendary SSJ could appear. Zarbon is destroyed by Vegeta. Dodoria - Second in line to Zarbon, Dodoria did most of the grunt work. He engaged most of the rebelling Nameks, and also led the search for Vegeta, Gohan and Krillen. Dodoria is the one who shed light on the truth behind the destruction of Planet Vegeta. Cui - Cui was Frieza's biggest dissapointment. In fact, I don't think he even saw any real action until he fought Vegeta. His fight was very pathetic and Vegeta destroyed him with one blast. Various Species - Frieza had a legion of various races working for him. Pig men, wolf men, mutants, antelope, it was all good according to Frieza. Nobody refused Frieza's employment, because no one could. He made them offers they couldn't refuse. Saiyajin Race - Frieza had employed the Saiya-jins because of their superior fighting abilities and ferocious attitudes. Their ability to tranform into unstoppable ape creatures wasn't a drawback either. The Saiya-jins were getting too powerful and threatened Frieza's position. He then destroyed the whole race (but 5 of them) along with the entire planet. King Cold - Frieza's father was not really a henchman. He traveled with his rebuilt son to Earth to take revenge for what had happened to his son. The only reason I put King Cold under "minions" is because Frieza seemed to control his father. He dragged him along to Earth, he told him not to destroy the Earth... Just ordered him around. They are both destroyed by Mirai Trunks. Captain Ginyu - He is the leader of Frieza's elite force, the Ginyu Force. He was the most challenging to fight because of his body switching technique. Our heroes had to learn to fight one of their own. Ginyu's fate is unknown. He's probably still hopping around out there somewhere. Jeis - Another member of the elite Ginyu Force. He simultaneously attacked Goku with Baata. They put up quite a fight. When Baata is defeated by Goku, Jeis runs off to warn Ginyu. After engaging Vegeta, Jeis is destroyed. Baata - Another member of the elite Ginyu Force. He simultaneously attacked Goku with Jeis. They put up quite a fight. Baata is brought down quickly by Goku, but is finished off by Vegeta. Recoome - Recoome was the second Ginyu Force member to engage Gohan, Krillen and Vegeta. After raining pain on all three of our heroes, he is taken out quickly by Goku, but is finished off by Vegeta. Guldo - This froggish, four-eyed, freak (thanks veggie!) was the first to attack Gohan and Krillen. Using his time freeze technique, he quickly gained the upper hand on the battle. He is taken out in one shot by Vegeta before he could run Gohan and Krillen through with a large tree stump.

Garlic Jr.-
	After escaping from the Dead Zone (Movie #1), Garlic Jr. rounds up his best men and leads an assault on the Earth. For what purpose? To enslave everyone on the Earth, and to take what should have been rightfully his father's; the role of Kami. (These are different henchmen than in Movie #1) Garlic Jr.'s Minions Spice - The leader of Garlic Jr.'s brute squad. He is a formidable warrior, but is taken out by an enraged Gohan. Salt - Another one of Garlic Jr.'s henchmen. He is the smallest member, but is also pretty dangerous. He is taken out by an enraged Gohan. Vinegar - The largest member of Garlic Jr.'s gang. He boasts a lot of power, but his fate told him otherwise. Gohan takes him out. Taado - He attacks Krillen and enrages Gohan. Gohan retaliates in fear of his friend's life. He disposes of Taado. The Planet Earth - Everyone who was exposed to the Black Water Mist was tranformed into a minion of Garlic Jr. This included most of the planet Earth.

Dr. Gero-
	After Goku took down the entire Red Ribbon Army in DragonBall, the entire organization suffered a major embarrassment and disbanded. Years later Dr. Gero, one of the Red Ribbon Army's leading scientists, constructed numerous deadly androids for the sole purpose of getting revenge on Goku for what he did to him and his previous android years ago. Dr. Gero's Minions DNA Collector - Dr. Gero launched this little micro-computer during early DragonBall Z. Its mission was to collect DNA samples of the greatest warriors on Earth. It also followed Goku around, recording his every move and battle. Android 19 - Android 19 appeared in West City with Dr. Gero (Android 20). Like Gero, he is an energy absorbing model. He caused Goku some trouble, but only because of his rare heart condition. #19 is easily disposed of by Vegeta. Android 17 - This android isn't completely robotic. 17 used to be human once, but then was altered by Gero. 17 is also one the original androids that appear in Trunks' future. He is very powerful, and took most of the Z fighters to the trash. His reign of terror is stopped when he is absorbed by Cell to become Super Cell. Android 18 - Like her brother, 18 is half human, half android. She gives Vegeta a thrashing before being absorbed by Cell to become Perfect Cell. During the fight with SSJ2 Gohan, Cell literally coughs up 18. She falls in love with Krillen soon after and they have a child, Marron. Android 16 - The strongest out of the fearsome three-some, he is also the kindest. Despite his super strength and evil programming, #16 was at peace with nature and all things living. He is destroyed by Perfect Cell in an attempt to save Gohan's life. Seeing this event take place, pushes Gohan to the 2nd level of Super Saiya-jin. Cell - Made from the cells of the strongest warriors on Earth, Cell was the perfect being. He first showed up in Trunks' alternate future and stole his time machine. Cell arrived in the present and started absorbing entire cities of people with his tail in order to reach full power. After absorbing androids 17 and 18, Perfect Cell held the Cell Games in order to test his strength. After many deaths and miseries, Cell is defeated at the hands of SSJ2 Gohan.

Cell-
	Even though Cell was the "Perfect" Fighting machine, he still enlisted the aid of a few minions. Spawning from his shortened tail, came the CELL JUNIORS! Cell's Minions Cell Jr.'s - In an attempt to enrage Gohan in order to see his ultimate power, Cell released 7 miniature Cells. Even though they were smaller than the original, they still had the awesome power of Cell. Needless to say, the Z team got trashed by the 7 little terrors, while Gohan watched in horror. This event did not trigger, but contributed to Gohan's transformation. All 7 Cell Jr.'s were destroyed by Gohan.

Babidi-
	Babidi is second in line to Frieza as to who has the most minions. Babidi came to Earth in an attempt to resurrect his father's old creation, the demon Majin Buu. This unstoppable killing machine destroyed most of the universe and even took out 3 supreme Kaiohs before his reign of terror was brought to an end by the the Kaiohs. Babidi's Minions Dabura - Babidi managed to possess Dabura, the king of the Demon World. He was the strongest out of Babidi's motley group of henchmen. He guarded the 3rd level down to Babidi's ship. He had the unique ability to turn people into stone by spitting on them. He fights Gohan a bit before being turned into a chocolate bar and eaten by Majin Buu. Pui Pui - Pui Pui is the first level guardian to Babidi's ship. He boasted great power, but in the end was nothing compared to the awesome power of Super Saiya-jin Vegeta. Even after being teleported to Pui Pui's home planet of Zun, Vegeta still owned him. Yakkon - This odd creature is the guardian of the 2nd level guardian of Babidi's ship. Goku fought Yakkon for awhile, and seemed to have the upper hand until Babidi transported them to Yakkon's home planet which was completely dark. Yakkon had the ability to devour light. Goku destroyed Yakkon when he turned into an SSJ2. The light energy was swallowed by Yakkon, killing him. Yam - Yam was one of two humans controled by Babidi. He was sent to the World Tournament with his partner, Spopovich to absorb Gohan's energy. Yam is destroyed by Pui Pui when they discover they have no more use for him. Spopovich - Spopovich was the second of the two humans controled by Babidi. He was sent to the WorldTtournament with his partner, Yam, to absorb Gohan's energy. Spopovich is destroyed by Babidi's evil magic. Majin Grunts - Babidi also had many footsoldiers under his control. They really posed no threat to any of the Z fighters. A large number of them were killed by Gohan during his assault on Babidi's ship. Majin Vegeta - Seeing the evil nature in Vegeta's heart, Babidi wasted no time in possessing Vegeta. Vegeta did not try to resist however, because he wanted the Majin Power Boost that came with the package. Majin Buu - The evil creation of Bibidi, Babidi's father. This was Babidi's ultimate goal. He wanted to revive the imprisoned Buu in order to rul the galaxy with an iron fist. After too many things happening to mention here happened, Buu is defeated by Goku.

Buu-
	Buu was such an unstoppable force, no minions were neccessary for this power house. However, he is seen half way through the series with a henchman. Buu's Minions     Super Buu Kamikazi Attack - When Buu absorbed Piccolo and Gotenks, he gained Piccolo's brains and Gotenks' strength. However, he also acquired both of their trademark techniques. He learned Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon, and Gotenks' Galactic Halo, and the Super Ghost Kamikazi Attack. He used this technique on the unsuspecting Gohan.

G O O D . G U Y S ::

Kaiosama (North)-

In order to prepare himself for the upcoming fight against the evil Saiya-jins approaching the Earth, Goku travels to Kaiosama's Planetoid to train. There he meets the famous Kaiosama, and his two friends. Later in the series, Yamcha, Tien and Chaouzu venture there as well. Kaiosama's Minions Bubbles - Bubbles is a monkey that helps in Kaiosama's training procedure. By chasing Bubbles around trying to catch him, Goku's strength and agility increased a lot due to the high gravity on Kaiosama's planetoid. Gregory - The second phase of Kaiosama's training; hit this thing with a large hammer. Sound easy? Try it with a hammer weighing several tons, and on a planetoid with increased gravity. It ain't easy.

Bun (Space Orphan)-
	On the way to Namek, Krillen, Gohan and Bulma's ship accidentally runs into a spaceship equipped with mirrors to make it appear to vanish. They meet the leader of the group, Bun. They escaped their home planet which fell under siege from Frieza's forces. They took up hiding in their invisible ship. Bun's Minions Space Kids - They are the survivors of Frieza's deadly attacks on their home planet. Because of all the strife and sorrow they have seen in their life, they trust no one, and will kill anyone who tries to invade their ship, and touch their friends. Gohan, Krillen and Bulma become their friends when they help save their ship from a meteor shower.
