The episode starts with Gohan waking up after turning into Oozaru and back to normal. He looks around, wondering how he got down from that cliff. He gets up, only to find himself weighing more than normal, and falls on his knees. He tries to get up again, but falls on his butt. He feels his butt, saying that hurt, and realizes that his tail is gone! He then walks over to a lake, only to see that he has new clothes on, and just while he was looking, an alligator appears in front of him and almost eats him alive! Gohan walks backwards away from it, getting his sword, trying to beat it up, but a cat-like creature sees Gohan and runs after him as well! He runs away from both of them, until running into an eagle, who decides to grab him with his foot. The eagle flies away with Gohan, and fights a dinosaur over him, dropping Gohan into a valley, knocking out Gohan. He wakes up, not believing what just happened.

Meanwhile, a blimp is seen flying over a baseball field. The camera then goes inside to see that there is a baseball game going on, and a guy is batting, but is hit, and goes to first base. Yamcha is then seen meditating in the player's box for one of the teams. The coach asks him to go next, and Yamcha leaves, and waits for his turn. Meanwhile, a new guy is batting, and the coach is giving him real strange signals, scaring the batter. The pitcher throws the ball, and the batter ducks as the ball flies by. The pitcher is laughing at this, and decides to hit him in the next pitch! He does so, making the guy mad that he just did that, saying he did it on purpose. They fight, along with the rest of the team fighting. Yamcha is still kneeling with his eyes closed, until his cap flies off, seeing that there is a fight, making him happy. Puar tells him not to go, but Yamcha says it's just fun, and he goes, and Puar tells him to be careful. He pummels player after player, until someone holds his arm. He's about to hit him, until he sees that it's Krillin! Krillin asks if they can go somewhere to talk.

He tells him about Goku dying. He can't believe it, and Krillin tells him about the Saiyans coming in one year. Yamcha starts to walk out with Krillin, and sees Bulma, who's still mad at him. After a little talk, they are alright again. Krillin tells Yamcha that Kami wants to train them, making Yamcha very happy, running to his car, saying to lets go and see Kami!

Meanwhile, Gohan is getting a fish for dinner, he drags it along with him, while he is very tired. He grabs a few fruits, and starts to climb a tree to get some more. He slips and falls, and when he wakes up, he notices that there is a thunder storm. He runs with his fish to his cave. We see him in there rolling something up. Then Gohan remembers when his father did this for him. Then we see his flashback of Goku rolling the same thing for Gohan when he was little, and puts it on his cut knee, and Gohan begins to scream and cry. Goku tells him that it does sting, but it is the only way for him to get better. Then we see Gohan again, this time he puts the same stuff on his arm, and groans at the stinging pain. Then, we see two huge eyes looking from behind Gohan, as he rubs the stuff on him, and his fish cooking.

Then we see Goku, sleeping on Snake Way. He wakes up, crying in pain, as his arm touched the side of Snake Way, he wakes himself up, and continues his running.

Meanwhile, Gohan is seen sleeping, and the thing that was behind him stealing all of his food. It soon becomes dawn, and Gohan wakes up, feeling out for his food, but instead feels a huge dinosaur. Then the outside of the cave is seen, with Gohan screaming as loud as he can, and is seen running out of the cave. He huffs and puffs, and starts to run more, but says that he can't because he shouldn't run away, and his sword's in there. As he starts to walk in, the dinosaur walks out of the cave. But he is struggling and falls down. He has a huge stump that's inside his stomach. Gohan pulls it out, and makes the same remedy for his cut as the one he made for himself. The dinosaur yells at the pain, but Gohan says it's the best thing.

Gohan then leaves to get food, and finally finds some, and puts it in a basket. He puts the basket down in front of the dinosaur, and he eats the whole basket! Gohan is a little sad that he eats that much. He then is seen running to a waterfall to drink water. He does, and he then walks away, hopping around to get food for his friend.

Yamcha, Bulma, Puar and Krillin are flying over to Kami's place, with Yamcha saying that he is happy to be back in his old fighting clothes. They talk about the fight, with Yamcha saying that they have Piccolo and Goku on their side, and so they will be stronger than ever. And now with Kami's training, they will be twice as strong as they are now. Bulma is happy for Yamcha, making Krillin upset that they still like each other.

Meanwhile, Gohan is seen picking fruit for his friend. He tries to jump off of the tree, and succeeds, but is still a little hurt. He then starts to hum to himself, but he stops when he sees his friend being killed by another dinosaur! Gohan tries to get the dinosaur away, but he knocks Gohan out, and the dinosaur walks back to Gohan's unconscious friend, screaming.

It is now morning, and Gohan wakes up. He looks only to see his friend's remains, only bones. Gohan walks away from him, crying but at the same time, stronger than before.
