The episode starts right after King Kai's conversation with Bulma. Gohan asks Bulma if there is any other way to wish Goku and Krillin back, but Bulma explains that they died on Namek, which means if they were wished back, then they would be wished to an empty planet, and would die anyway. But, Vegeta tells them that there is a way! He says that there is a check-in station for Planet Earth. He says to wish them there, and then wish them back to life. Bulma says that he is right! They aren't as worried afterward, but just them, Moori, the new elder of the Nameks, comes to Bulma. He asks her if she knows of a place where they can stay. Bulma says that they can all stay at her house! They all are a little skeptical at first, but they accept after she tells them that many people will find them strange. She even manages to get Vegeta to come along! Gohan wants to come as well, but Bulma tells him that his mom is probably worried sick about him, but he tells Bulma to let him until he finishes his homework.

Meanwhile, back at Capsule Corp., Master Roshi, Bulma, Yajirobe, Oolong, and Puar are all ready to go to Namek, when Dr. Brief gets a phonecall. He tells them to stand by. They wait, and then he comes back, and tells them that it was Bulma, and that she is back on Earth! He asks if anyone still wants to go to Namek, and they all fall out of their chairs. They immediately board a plane to pick everyone up. Chi-Chi is screaming at Dr. Brief to speed up, with Dr. Brief just sighing.

They land, and Bulma waves them down. The back door opens, and Chi-Chi comes screaming out the door, yelling for Gohan. She runs into a crowd of Nameks, and sees Gohan hiding behind a tree. She runs to him, happy that he is alright. They all board the plane, and head for Bulma's house.

Everyone arrives at Capsule Corp., and they all look around, including Vegeta. Just then, Bulma's mom jumps in front of Vegeta telling him that he should get a medal for saving her daughter. While Vegeta is confused, he sees a ship. He walks up to it, while Dr. Brief tells him about how many capabilities it has. Vegeta walks inside, saying that Goku probably used a ship like this. Bulma's mom comes on the intercom, telling Vegeta that she made him a drink. Vegeta is a little surprised.

The narrator then talks about how the Nameks rested on Earth for 130 days. Moori became an expert putter, the Namekian boys played cards, and Captain Ginyu was getting settled at a pond. Then 130 days came, and the seven Dragonballs are gathered. Dende then summons the dragon, and he appears!

People in the city are wondering why the sky is black, when a woman shouts that it's a monster! Everyone looks to see Porunga, and everyone is in a panic, including the police, and an aircar that is flying over him! The police then find out that it is coming from Capsule Corp. They tell the people, and everyone calms down and walks away.

Porunga then says that he has been awakened, and he will grant three wishes. The first wish that they make is to wish Krillin and Goku to the Earth's Check-in station. Porunga says he sent Krillin, but Goku is alive, and can't be brought there. Everyone celebrates that he is alive, but they wonder why he hasn't returned. Moori tells them that they can wish him back to Earth with one of the wishes. They agree, and use the second wish to bring Krillin back to life! He appears in front of the Dragonballs, still confused over why he is there. Then, they make the last wish, to bring Goku back to Earth! But Porunga says that Goku has refused! Everyone stops celebrating, and Vegeta, hearing this, realizes that Goku must be training somewhere. Hearing this, he steals the spaceship and flies off. Everyone wonders why he left, but Piccolo tells them not to worry about it. He says that they should wish back one of the people from King Kai's place. Bulma says yes, but wonders which one of them should come back first.

At King Kai's, he tells them of the situation. Tien says that he wants to train some more, and Chiaotzu says that he won't go without Tien, so Yamcha is left. King Kai tells Bulma, who says she'll make the wish. She wishes Yamcha back to life, and Porunga brings him back, but in a pond nearby. They don't know it yet, but they think that the Dragon never made that wish. But they hear Yamcha coming from the pond. Puar jumps on him, and he hugs her back. Bulma comes up to him, with Yamcha saying that it's good to see her.

Then, 130 days later, the dragon is summoned again, and Chiaotzu is brought back first, followed by Tien. Then, Moori tells Dende that it is time. Moori and the other Namekians all bow down to Bulma and the others, thanking them for everything. Dende then grabs Gohan's hands, telling him he has to leave. Dende makes the wish, and all the Namekians begin to disappear. Dende, who is crying, disappears last, still holding Gohan's hand, with a tear dropping to the ground just after Dende leaves. Gohan, who is now crying, says goodbye to Dende.

Meanwhile, Chi-Chi, Ox-King, and Gohan are at the house, with Chi-Chi making food, and Ox-King sitting down at the table. Gohan is in his room studying, with Piccolo looking at him through a window. He tells him that if he ever needs anything, that he will be there for him.
